My brother just found this walking around in South Auckland, New Zealand. Any ideas on what it could be? New Zealand isn't really known for our spiders so we've got no clue submitted by /u/nzmarquis [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Dog coughed this up

I posted this on another community, but I also wanted to post here just in case— Hi guys! I noticed that my dog coughed this up earlier this morning. It had the texture/appearance of the inside of a grapefruit. I checked his poop and there's nothing abnormal. He's acting fine and being his goofy self, but I was wondering if this could be parasites? He’s a 6 y/o pit mix and is neutered and fully vaccinated. Thank you! submitted by /u/hammahjang_ [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Is this a small huntsman? I wanted to capture it but it's high up on the ceiling and I was scared of it jumping on me. But I also don't want to just kill it - if it's a huntsman it probably is harmless to me. Do I just leave it there? :/ submitted by /u/hanurh [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

They’re everywhere with lights. Have never seen so many. Are they mosquitoes? They give mosquito vibes but something about them says otherwise. submitted by /u/ahh_ceh [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
