The year is passing so quickly, especially now that life is getting a little more normal and my social life is gearing up. Gearing up just enough, I’m so not interested in jam packing life the way I used to. I used to go to multiple events in a night, now I consider it a treat to visit two bars on a night out! There has been lots of eating out though, and I need to reign that in so I can get back in the kitchen! There’s so much I want to cook at the moment and I haven’t even had anyone over for dinner yet. Soon. For now, meal ideas for you. Breakfast Local cafe full? Make these easy summer ba ..read more

I’m loving having a long weekend. It’s been so relaxing and full of yummy food. It would have been oh so lovely if we could have had a smidge more sunshine. Only being able to catch up outdoors and having a whole lot of rainy days isn’t that helpful. And we have another week of that ahead, so I’m going to leave the picnic food themed posts until November! This week we’ve got colour and ease. Breakfast Miso and Mint Broad Bean Toast, Broad beans on toast are my spring favourite. Light and Crunchy Muesli, this with natural yoghurt and berries is such a delicious breakfast. Lunch Snowpea, Feta ..read more

I’m going back to face to face teaching this week and it’s a weird feeling! I’m so excited for my students but I’m also aware it’s going to be an adjustment for all of us. Really glad we’ve waited until cases are this low to do it so the students and teachers don’t feel like they’re being put at risk, fingers crossed everything works out. I’m super excited to have a destination to walk to this week ha! This also means that I’m back to having work lunches, for me that often means leftovers or one of my go to legume salads that I’ve included below. Enjoy! Breakfast Rapini and Pine Nut Pesto on ..read more

This weekend has been so lovely, I never thought that sitting in a park with some friends would mean so much to me. Being in Melbourne’s parks at the moment remind me of summers in London, such a festive vibe. It’s also meant that I have way too many cheese boards over the last week, so I’m going to have to start making something other than hummus to bring to the park. Breakfast Potato Waffles with Pea Puree and Horseradish Yoghurt, the  perfect weekend breakfast for Spring. 5 Ingredient Get Your Glow on Blueberry Smoothie, this is delicious and the best light breakfast. Lunch Cauliflo ..read more

Keeping things bright and colourful this week as it’s totally helping my mood amongst the drudgery. I’m thinking of starting some sort of travel themed night each week to also stop the drudgery, anyone else doing this? We cook at home most of the week but make sure to give ourselves a break and order from a local restaurant at least once each week. It’s nice to eat food someone else has cooked sometimes! Plus, it means pretty much no dishes. Below is this week’s inspiration, a mix of breakfast, lunch and dinner ideas to hopefully get you more excited about being in your kitchen.
