I finally got some Pfiel Tools after saving up for awhile and they are so worth it!

I'm going insane. I can't understand how anyone manages to clean something like caligo safe-wash oil based inks off a battleship grey lino (with hessian backing) without getting the backing wet / destroying the linocut material.
I've tried turpetine and it dried and cracked the lino. I've tried just soap and paper towel with moderate success, but I still needed to pour water over it to clean it.
Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thankyou!

So I'm sorta new to all this but I use several dif inks from dif brands and noticed the Speedball supergraphic black pro ink, even after drying and weeks after, it still smears a bit, (on all papers ive used, think, thick, cotton, linen, recycled) not terribly that its a problem but just something I noticed and wasn't sure of this was something anyone else has experienced. Was thinking that its just something that may happen if i printed to thick or just normal sometimes so figured I'd ask
I really do like this ink a lot. Again its not a huge deal you gotta like actually rub it to get it ..read more

I’m drying it for 20min or so. Is the last layer not thin enough? Am I not drying it for long enough?
