Best App for Online training business specializing in programs

I have been using a combination of ZOOM, Google Sheets, and my own Keynote docs to achieve the aesthetic and quality that I want to give my clients but its tons of repetitive work. A couple years ago I trialed a few services but all felt clunky and lacked the ability to have some aesthetic input. Thinking its time to make the shift to an app that offers the above. Are there any apps that have a programing, payment, tracking, etc that are reasonably priced and intuitive to use? submitted by /u/BL4CKL0DGE [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hey guys, I’d like to get certified to work as a personal trainer and from my research, I noticed that most people opt for ACE and NASM. Is there any difference? Why do some people do both? Could you please help me? Thank you :) submitted by /u/girljuly [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hey guys!! This thread has been so helpful in starting, developing and scaling my online training business. I would love if anyone has feedback on my website?? I’ve been spending the last few weeks upgrading it and I think it’s at a decent spot but it’s helpful to get opinions from others in the field. I’m not the best at web stuff but I’m also not the worst, and I’ve enjoyed looking at other trainers sites for inspo in the past so maybe it could help some of you as well! A client of mine who trains 3 days a week says this every now and then, she says it in a playful tone and i ask her why and she has no solid reason. She trains hard, she does everything i say, she communicates well and i absolutely love working with her, been with her for 9 months now, we are crushing her goals. I’m trying to understand if i should take this seriously. We normally do 6-8 exercises per session, today she said she we should do light stuff, i pondered a bit and said:”okay, so I’m thinking light weight high reps (12-20)?” she said that’s fine but I went on to say that “today was ..read more

Hi all! I haven’t started my certification yet but I’m wanting to connect with people in the field to get advice, hear their stories, learn new things, etc. etc. I’m wondering how people network in this field? I’ve created social media accounts specifically for following and speaking to fitness experts/fitness content creators. But I’m wondering where I can do this in person? I know obviously the gym is a great space, but I’m tight on money at the moment (especially if I want to afford this certification). For other career goals, there are conferences or networking events. Does anyone have an ..read more

Do any of you asks your clients screen time if they’re missed their workouts? I’m an online coach and was thinking of implementing this if they’ve missed over 50% of their workouts for the week submitted by /u/WillingMatter1005 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

How do you assess prospective trainer interpersonal skill (also called soft skills, human skills, etc) during the hiring process? Some things we have used: 1. How do they do in that area during their interview/addition. 2. Hospitality/service experience (Servers' pay is largely based on human skills). 3. The "do you want to have a beer" test with this person. 4. Having more than one person evaluate human skills during the interview process to limit individual bias of a single evaluator. 5. Other life experience (work or other) where the applicant used their human skills to achieve or create s ..read more
