The Australian Hapkido Association was founded in 1979 by 8th Dan Grandmaster Sung Su Kim. For 40 years the AHA has kept strong Korean ties, helping support over 20 Clubs Australia wide, and maintaining quality Hapkido Instruction and strong family-oriented Martial Arts Clubs.

Master Geister is running an AHA Club Instructor Accreditation Course at the Byron Bay Dojang on Saturday 17th September from 1.00pm – 4.00pm.
In addition to the Instructor Accreditation Course, Master Geister will be running two general training sessions over the weekend. The general training sessions are open to all students aged 11yrs and up.
Friday 16th of September
6:00pm – 8.00pm: General Training Session (11yrs and up)
Saturday 17th of September
9:30am – 11:30am: General Training Session (11yrs and up)
11:30pm – 1.00pm: Lunch

The long awaited Interclub Challenge is back on Sunday 28 August, starting at 8am at Niagara Park Sports Stadium (formerly known as Central Coast Youth Club) at 18 Washington Avenue, Niagara Park

The venue is Point Wolstoncroft Sport & Rec Centre, Kanangra Dr, Gwandalan
The schedule for Friday is;
Registration from 5pm
Dinner at 6:30pm
What to bring
Shin guards, gloves and mouth guards if you have them.
Bring weapons, especially swords and poles

Black Belt training has been scheduled for the last Sunday of each month, from 8:30-10:30am.
First training session for 2021 is on Sunday 28 February
Held at Northern Beaches Dojang, Unit H, 134-140 Old Pittwater Road, Brookvale.
Cost for each session $25 payable at the time of class.
Similar to last year, we will be hosting various of our senior Instructors each month to impart their knowledge in specific aspects of Hapkido. We will begin in February with Master Geister teaching, who will use this session to get through some of the Black Belt Syllabus to get an indication of where ever ..read more

Australian Hapkido Association Autumn Camp – 3-5 April 2020
It’s fun, it’s friendly, it’s exhausting and exhilarating, it’s the AHA’s annual Autumn Training Camp! And now is the time to register to attend!
This year’s camp will be held at the NSW State Sport and Rec centre at Point Wolstonecroft – 90 minutes north of Sydney.
