On Friday, April 12th , there was a service for Lenore Linda Duncan.  It shocked her family and everyone who heard about Lenore and saddened everyone too.  Lenore was a very big driving force behind many committees, work with Duncan Logging and other get togethers. She liked to include people and enjoyed serving them meals at her home.  We are sad to feel the loss of her presence among us now but long for the day when we all meet again with Jesus.  ..read more

Walking in to the church was so nice as Bonnie was playing the piano and it sounded so welcoming of the Sabbath. The second lesson of the next quarter was The War Behind All Wars. It is study based on Revelation. The discussion was helpful for learning and understanding more about the struggle in Heaven, a surprising place to find a war. It is great to see people come into the sanctuary and join in. Bonnie told us about the Sprouting Class on the 21st.  Come join in and enjoy a little bite at the end too.  Bonnie has played the piano for OCC for so many years and we sure d ..read more

Alex had the lesson this Sabbath. His art work on the white board is helpful and he brought along a staff to illustrate.  Thanks, Alex.  Lesson discussion was followed by Mission Spotlight. Praise Time was by Tammy, Denise and Dami with the singing and music with Joel and Todd and Vicki. Liza helped us try to sing a song in her language from the Phillipines - How Great Thou Art. Olga helped with a German version of Amazing Grace. Pastor Josue sang in Spanish. Dexter liked helping hand out papers. Peter played Adoration on his violin along with his ..read more

Started with Sabbath School lesson discussion. Blessed is He who Comes in the Name of the Lord was the lesson title for week 9 in this quarter. For interest and because all people do not learn by the same methods I had some people come to the front to draw a simple illustration of what Jesus is for us. Thank you to Arnie and Doug and Dexter for helping with the white board. Loretta went first followed by me then Lori and Bridgenna and Vicki.  It is amazing how simple drawings stick in our minds and help us remember.  Jesus is our Shepherd Jesus is our Fortress ..read more

Bridgenna and Dexter enjoyed a Christmas gift given to them. They each picked out a plain mug to paint. They put a lot of thought into what they would do with the plain white mugs. Here  are the results. Can you figure out whose this one is? So pretty.  They sure did great.  ..read more

So very glad Joy sent me these fun photos from Fellowship Meal time. What a joyful wonderful looking bunch of people.  Sony included and loved. Please remember at this week and month of ❤️ to look for someone who may feel not part of the group or sad or lonely and share your visit a song or a cookie.  Arnie and Pastor Josue visited my dad,  Walter, when I was away and last evening when I was there with him he told me 3 times about it.  He was so happy. Even in his sleepy state it meant an awful lot to him as he c ..read more

Bright and early the Sabbath School lesson started.  GQ lead it while about 10 people joined in the lively discussion. More people came as the lesson went along and it was a very nice learning time together. Mission Spotlight came next. Then Beverly took some pictures for me as Alison and I had to leave to get my sister from the airport as my dad was very ill. Thank you for the prayers for Walter. He is still quite weak and sick but is starting to feel better slowly.  It meant alot to have Arnie come to visit him and Shirley and Jody came to see him too and brought juice and gi ..read more
