Every winter the fjords of Northern Norway are full of herring. And with the herring there come the orcas. In this video you can see how they maneuver underwater to trap. In Norway and Iceland, Orcas herd together large schools of fish into a big sphere and encircle them or enclose them within a wall of air bubbles. Epic drone shot! A large group of humpbacks in Eyjafjördur off Hauganes in northern Iceland. During summer, Iceland is one of the best places in the world to meet many different kinds of whales. Most of them are feeding on fish and krill in the northern and western fjords. With 15 to 20 meters, right whales are not among the largest of all whales. But with up to 100 tons they’re certainly among the heaviest. These guys are massive. In relation to their length, they’re even the heaviest of all whales – by far! Just for scale: those dolphins in this video are about two meters long and weigh up to 150 kilograms.
