Is everything people do the will of God?

Calvinists will often say that God ordained/decreed every little thing that happens, wouldn't that mean then that everyone's doing the will of God, even unbelievers? If so, why would God be angry about sin and have enough wrath towards people to send them to hell? submitted by /u/Weekly_Freedom_3173 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Calvinists: Were you ever in danger of going to hell?

Through the doctrine of unconditional election it seems like the elect were never in danger of going to hell since God deterministically chose them before the foundation of the world to be saved. How do you reconcile this doctrine with verses like Jude 1:23 ESV - save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh. submitted by /u/Weekly_Freedom_3173 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Universalism - Justification by "Faith"

The false gospel of justification by so-called "faith" is satan's most subtil deception of self-righteousness. Justification by "faith" is the common denominator of all of false christendom, whether catholicism, liberal protestantism, conservative evangelicalism, and reformed. Yes, Calvin and Luther were dead wrong. All deceived by these man-centered religions will be aligned together against God and against His Christ at the end. The world is filled with men who are ministers of "righteousness" (self-righteousness) who report to satan, the angel of light. For all the elect of God who were ch ..read more

Does life begin at conception

Hi this is very personal sorry. Few years ago I took morning after pill 24 hours after being se....lly assaulted. Recently I became Christian but my PTSD has grown bigger since learning the Catholics and Orthodox belief that life begins at conception and therefore morning after pill is causing an abortion. The belief is that if I unknowingly caused an abortion, this unborn soul is now in heaven. This thought gives me so much anxiety because the last thing I would ever want, if I ever get to heaven some day, is to be faced with a child of the rapist who destroyed my life and hence to be remind ..read more

I'm struggling with this predestination thing

Yesterday a suddenly got very distressed over the fact that if God predestines some people to heaven then He is essentially deciding everyone else goes to hell. I was so distraught over these people that don't even have a chance that I had a panic attack. My body is literally rejecting these ideas, but from what I know, these predestination is biblical. I know God is righteous and my mind can't completely understand Him, but this seems so wrong. submitted by /u/MachewDun [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Calvinists, how do you deal with the fear that God might not have chosen your child for salvation?

I've been learning about calvinism and I have not come to a conclusion yet. What bothers me most is how do you, as calvinists, think about your non-believing loved ones? If you were to pray for your daughter, you couldn't escape the thought there is a chance that God didn't chose her for salvation. You may still pray for her, but doesn't this bother you when you worship God? I havn't been able to find an answer to this, it would be great if someone could help. Thanks! submitted by /u/ash_nn [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
