As the title suggests, I’m a first year assistant coach at the high school level. I’ve only been coaching for a month now, but I feel like I’m just dead weight compared to other coaches who have more experience than me. I played as both a back and forward in my playing years, mostly as an outside center before transitioning to hooker. There are two other backs coaches, so I feel like I’d be better off helping coach the forwards but really only know a lot of stuff for hookers involving line outs. Any tips on how to make myself more useful for my fellow coaches and players?

I'm I coach for a U19 HS team in the US and my team got beat pretty badly this weekend. I believe the reason for this defeat was because we had no chance to play offense. The team probly had about 5 mis worth of offensive possession. We played great defense the entire game but had almost no opportunities to score. We had about 3 possessions of significance with 2 of those 3 going for about 7-8 phases each. Any advice for trying to get my team more offensive opportunities. Penalties were even on both sides We lost 3 out of the 10 or so lineouts and won all our scrums

Hey folks, I'm hoping to purchase a couple of crash mats for my team's tackling practice, we play on quite hard dry ground.
Are there any sizes or thickness I should be aiming for? There's a lot of options online. Thanks!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. I am part of an MSc team researching ways to bridge the gap between the technique and knowledge of professional rugby players and those of competitive but amateur players / developing players.
We are doing some information gathering via a survey. It is only 5 questions long, should take no more than 2 minutes to complete and anyone who fills it out will be added to a cash draw. There will be 5 winners selected who will win €50 each.
If you are / have ever been a player or coach at any level, we'd really appreciate your thoughts and insights! Please feel f ..read more

Hey All,
Does anyone have a list of professional clubs running the 1-3-2-2 attack structure? I know that MLR's NOLA Gold ran it last year (as did Japan in the RWC) but I was wondering if anyone knows of clubs in the Top 14, Gallagher Premiership Rugby, Super Rugby, or URC running it?

Scraic Lads, Wanting to do broncos in my 1 on 1 coaching, and just wondering if there’s anywhere that has ideal score times for certain positions. Like what time should a fly half be getting in a full bronco compared to a prop for example?

We have been using a VEO camera to record matches for the last year and it's pretty good. I was looking into the VEO analytics and I was wondering has anyone else used it for rugby? Seems like it provides a lot of good data for football but I don't know does it provide the same kind of cover for rugby.
