Shirley's Celtic Knot Medallion Quilt Here is Shirley's beautiful and unique Celtic Knot quilt in just three fabric colours, black, brown and white.  With all the detailed applique and knotwork, it took us some time to work out what quilt pattern would complement it the most.  After looking through the wide choice we have on offer, we ended up with 'Bam' by Jessica Schick in a light tan thread, which echoed the curves of the knots, but didn't detract from the detailed stitching.   Linda's Embroidered Quilt Fabadashery Longarm Quilting has done several embroidered quilts over the years.  Linda's Embroidery Machine is her new passion and is combining her embroidered motifs with her Accuquilt blocks.  This little block featuring a pine cone, was just one of many stitched blocks using the Brother Country Matt embroidery thread, which instead of being shiny, blends beautifully with the soft fabrics.  With all this detail, we chose a very simple quilting pattern, Bam, a simple meander.  To lessen the effect of the quilting even more, we use ..read more

  Shirley's Farmer's Wife Quilt Happy St David's Day!
