Now that it’s off season and we’re fully settled in after our move to Prince Edward County, I finally have time to share some of my favourites shoots from the last year! First up is this gorgeous bride and groom portrait shoot on the rugged coast of Vancouver Island. Jett and Chris’ wedding in Victoria BC was postponed for a year due to the pandemic and ended up being my first destination wedding after Covid. I’m always happy to shoot Vancouver Island weddings since Victoria is my hometown and I find the scenery there so inspiring.
In many ways Jett was basically my ideal client. A creative ol ..read more

Krystina and Andrew’s Sandbanks engagement session was my first shoot in Prince Edward County since moving up here in June!
Since couples book wedding photographers pretty far in advance, my year was booked up before we even decided to move. That meant all my 2022 weddings and engagement sessions were still for my Toronto clients. But the scenery in Prince Edward County is so beautiful I was excited to get started shooting here as soon as possible. I was so happy that Krystina and Andrew took me up on my offer to do their engagement session up here, and that they got the spend the weekend enjo ..read more

It’s been a crazy busy year with moving to Prince Edward County in the spring and finishing up my GTA weddings, but I finally made the time to share a new wedding here!
Emily and Nick’s Halloween wedding was one of my favorites in the past couple years. Like so many couples, Covid restrictions affected their original wedding date, and the only date left to reschedule their venue happened to be Halloween. They had originally planned for a pretty spring wedding, but I absolutely love how they embraced their Halloween theme in a sophisticated yet fun way.

Their wedding planner Michell ..read more

This Belcroft Estates micro wedding with backyard reception is the perfect inspiration for a beautiful, intimate wedding!
Weddings this year definitely looked a little different. 2020 was a difficult year for engaged couples, and for the wedding industry as a whole. Many couples postponed their weddings hoping that things would open up by next year. A few even made the hard choice to cancel their wedding celebrations entirely. That’s why I’m extra grateful this year for amazing couples like Kaitlyn and Grant who fully embraced the micro wedding concept. It’s no secret that I was already a fan ..read more

Two days after their destination wedding in Greece, Sharon and Achilleas changed back into their wedding clothes, salvaged what was left of the wedding flowers, and met up with me for this beautiful shoot. I’ve never really done day-after photoshoots before, but I think they’re my new favourite thing! Although we could see the ocean from their wedding venue, there just wasn’t time to go off-site on the wedding day, and you don’t go all the way to Greece without getting photos with the stunning landscape! Achilleas gave us a little off-road tour of the coastline that only locals know about. We ..read more

It looks like weddings will continue to be smaller for some time to come, so I decided to share some more Toronto micro wedding inspiration!
I chose Genevieve and Glen’s wedding because they were kind of early micro wedding trendsetters. They actually got married in the fall a few months before the pandemic hit. An intimate weekday wedding was their first choice, not a plan B necessitated by Covid restrictions. People often think of small weddings as a kind of compromise but I think they allow couples to focus on the very best parts of a wedding. Things like spending time with just your most i ..read more

Graydon Hall Manor weddings are always so picturesque and romantic! I love the fairy tale vibe of this venue, and of course it didn’t hurt that Helen literally looked like a princess on here wedding day. I was so in love with her lacy ballgown dress!
On of my favourite things about being a wedding photographer in Toronto is how many different types of weddings I get to see. It makes sure this job never gets boring! Helen and Mikle incorporated parts of their Assyrian culture into their wedding, which I had never had the chance to photograph before. I have to say they definitely know how to cel ..read more

Casa Loma weddings never disappoint! They always feel like visiting a European castle without ever leaving downtown Toronto.
I loved looking back through this bright, sunny Casa Loma wedding, especially today, one of the coldest of the winter so far. Elisa and Alper had their ceremony in the sun-filled Casa Loma conservatory, followed by photos around the beautiful castle gardens. Afterwards they headed over to the Chateau Le Jardin, which was a better fit for their large reception guest list and entertainment. One of my favorite parts of the day was the drum performance which kicked off the r ..read more

Happy New Year everyone :) It’s been awhile, but i’ve finally found the time to share some new content on here!
Sunnybrook Estates weddings – and especially Mclean House weddings – have been amoung of my favorites since I first started as a wedding photographer. In fact the third wedding I ever photographed was at the Mclean House, and it’s part of what inspired me to pursue wedding photography full time. The Mclean House is one of my favorite Toronto venues because it’s such a beautiful, elegant space but also has a very relaxed vibe. It’s the perfect spot for brides and grooms who want an in ..read more
