Summer. Hair gets lighter. Skin get darker. Water gets warmer. Drinks get colder. Life gets better. Slow island life in the Norwegian archipelago. From pretty night skies, lots of vitamin sea, sunny days and even a more sunny heart.

In Ålesund, the city on the Norwegian west coast famous for its jugend architecture, we visited the citys oldest hotel- Hotel 1904. The hotel is carefully renovated, with respect for its original historical details combined with modern Scandinavian design. Together with a warm, welcoming atmosphere it makes the perfect spot to stay while exploring the city and the beautiful nature of Sunnmøre.

With thanks to Hotel 1904 for inviting me to experience the hotel. More information about the hotel here.

My visit in Zürich was sponsored by the Marktgasse Hotel

I was invited to Zürich by Marktgasse Hotel which is a newly renovated boutique hotel situated in the charming old town of the city. The hotel has 39 individually furnished rooms and I was lucky to see both one of the loft suites and the junior s ..read more

In paid partnership with Georg Jensen.
The shorter the days gets, the more time spent indoors. Chasing warm afternoon light, feeling the need of bringing lush green plants into my home as reminders of warmer summer days. The photos created for Georg Jensen of their new plant accessory series were taken one of those afternoons. Still windows open, but with a crispiness in the air not felt in a long while.
Latest news from Danish Georg Jensen is a nine-piece plant accessory series crafted in terracotta and stainless steel. The collection is designed by Snøhetta, the internat ..read more

In paid partnership with Georg Jensen
Summer is my season. When hair gets lighter, skin gets darker, water gets warmer, nights get longer and life gets better. Scandinavian summer by the sea. When being asked to give my personal interpretation of Georg Jensen jewelry, my selected favorites, I brought them to my place. My beach.
My first encounter with Georg Jensens jewelry goes way back. From looking at, and dreaming about owning some of the beautiful pieces when visiting their flagship store in Copenhagen to visiting their silver smithy three years ago and experienc ..read more

After leaving the highway the roads are winding, the landscape lush and green and Mjøsa – Norways largest lake, is sparkling in the sunlight along the road until we reach our destination. While the country is slowly opening up again, going out of town, traveling for work, seems like luxury. I spent a day documenting great architecture, nature, how the sun makes the wooden cabin glow in the morning and the friendly squirrels who is constantly running back and fourth over the terrace floor at Toten Tretopphytte.
The cabin is a modern cabin built on poles with an amazing view over ..read more
