We had a day in London recently, where we took our boys to the Imperial War Museum to see the exhibitions they had there. It was a fascinating day as the kids have been studying about World War I and II in their history lessons at school, and we thought it would be a good idea to link the visit to their learning. We’ve also been discussing, together as a family, the events happening in Ukraine and Palestine. It’s hard for them not to hear about these world events as our kids are so much more aware about things through social media nowadays. They also have access to the internet for their schoo ..read more

One of the enduring qualities about documentary family photos is the timeless, authentic memories they capture that take you right back to a moment in time. Photographs that take you right back to a moment in time, where family members are engaged in various activities, sharing laughs together or expressing some other genuine emotions.
The joy I feel when I look through my own childhood pictures is the same joy I want you and your kids to get from flipping through your family albums. It’s the tangible means to revisiting your past, reconnecting with the exact feelings of the captured moments ..read more

A desire to slow down and a need to keep pace.
Is it a balancing act?
Very much so. Yes.
This is part of Artefact Motherhood - a collaboration of artists/mothers from around the world. Sharing stories of the joys and struggles of our journey. Our hopes and dreams for our children. With little nuggets of wisdom here and there. These are more than photographs with dates written on the back. These are the artefact we are leaving behind for children and the generations to come. Entering inside Kettle’s Yard house is always a magical experience. The former home of Jim and Helen Ede, Kettle’s Yard, is both a mecca and peaceful haven for artists and visitors who’ve come to explore the beautiful house and enjoy the extensive collection of contemporary and modern art.

My passion for photography came about the same time as I became passionate for wildlife. Back in the 1990s when I was growing up, I would spend hours watching film and TV documentaries on wildlife, such as The Big Cat Diary, Really Wild Show, Life of Birds and Born Free. I was moved by the nature, intensity and journey that animals had to get through to survive. It fostered my interest in wildlife conservation, but also ignited a fascination with the camera and the power to tell important and meaningful stories through the lens. Once I even dreamt of becoming a wildlife photographer, but reali ..read more
