Serendipity on the Streets of New York There are a few reasons why I never recommend you delete images in camera. Technical Reasons Not To Delete Images In Camera Unlocking Hidden Details: The small screens on many cameras can't match the clarity and detail of a larger, high-resolution computer monitor or even an iPad or other tablet. A photo that may seem lacklustre on your camera could reveal surprising details or interesting elements when viewed on a bigger screen. By evaluating your images on a more capable display, you open up the potential for discovering hidden details  ..read more

I’m enjoying using the Viltrox AF 75mm F/1.2 XF Pro Lens For Fujifilm X, and I will do a full review soon. However, to whet the appetite, I wanted to share a few images I shot this last weekend. One of my great friends, Gareth, organised a charity cycle ride from Castell Caernarfon to Castell Cas-Gwent (Chepstow) for the wonderful Fatboys Charity, which raises funds for Children with Cancer. If you so wish, you can still support this mammoth effort via their Just Giving Fundraising Page. Gareth himself is undergoing Chemo for Stage 4 cancer right now, so along with Ian, John and Simon, this w ..read more

Final Album Cover GFX100S & GF80mm F1.7 Lens The Supermarine Music Record Label recently commissioned me to photograph the album cover for legendary Blues musician Roy Poulton and his band. I chose to pair the GF80mm F1.7 lens with the GFX100S camera. This combination of high resolution and beautiful bokeh makes it ideal for portrait photographers and those seeking to capture fine details with a shallow depth of field. The GFX100S, with its 102MP medium-format sensor, provides unparalleled detail and dynamic range, while the GF80mm F1.7, one of the fastest lenses available for the GFX sys ..read more
