I’m not much of a snow person, really. I grew up in the deep south where it rarely ever snowed, and then only a lite “dusting” that closed everything down. But, I’ve had the opportunity to see enough snow to be content. I lived in Illinois for a couple of years. It snowed a great deal there. Too much for… Other related posts here @ tt.us: Beautifully Clever & Well Done: Snow Vietnam: Day Six – Eco-Friendly Beach Cleaning at Sunrise New Zealand ’17: Day 13 – Glenorchy (Tue) New Zealand ’17: Day 14 – Farewell NZ (Wed) Knock, Knock! This is my final post in this series. Below are more old photos from my vintage Instagram account now long since deleted. This was the table top in the diner in which we ate in Fargo, North Dakota. I took this Instagram because the patter is identical to the table top my grandparents had in their less formal dining room.… Other related posts here @ tt.us: Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (10 of 12) Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (3 of 12) Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (2 of 12) Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (11 of 12) Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (4 o ..read more

Below are more old photos from my vintage Instagram account now long since deleted. This is among the first Instagram photos I shot. I loved the color and the lighting and the way the filter brought out both. One of the walls in the outside patio at the Oar House restaurant in Pensacola, Florida. This is one of my favorite… Other related posts here @ tt.us: Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (3 of 12) Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (4 of 12) Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (6 of 12) Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (2 of 12) Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (10 ..read more

Below are more old photos from my vintage Instagram account now long since deleted. The north tower of the Golden Gate Bridge Only in Sausalito would one find a toilet on the landing atop an outdoor flight of stairs. (The building, once an old house, was actually being remodeled.) I looked up and loved the tubular ceiling in one of… Other related posts here @ tt.us: Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (4 of 12) Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (2 of 12) Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (6 of 12) Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (5 of 12) Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospec ..read more

Below are more old photos from my vintage Instagram account now long since deleted. The top left picture is a selfie I shot at the Hard Knox Café in the Richmond district in San Francisco. Am I Fascinated with Death?

These photos were all shot on the iPhone 12 Pro Max without any special lens – just the phone itself. Computational photography has really become impressive at this point, and I’m not even shooting with the latest iPhone! I’m just fascinated by the gorgeous colors of these deadly mushrooms! With all of the rain we’ve had this fall, these are… No related posts found here @ tt.us ..read more

An Instagram selfie! An early fisheye lens, that attached to the iPhone magnetically, of our home in Manhattan Beach. In the last few days I’ve seen a lot of worms, wooly bears, a few bees, a huge number of centipedes, a small snake, and one dragonfly. The poor dragonfly was at the end of its life. In reading Wikipedia, I learned that their adult lifespan can be as short as a few days and as long as 10 weeks.… Other related posts here @ tt.us: I Once Knew a Bumble Bee ..read more

We have had a very wet winter thus far – numerous storms coming in from the ocean. Yesterday we had storms coming and going with such speed the actual weather events looked as if they were a time-lapse. The clouds were moving incredibly fast. After dinner I noticed the clouds looked especially dramatic. Additionally, sunset was fast approaching, and initially… Other related posts here @ tt.us: Fun Truck Photo at Sunset on the Pacific Ocean We Had a Small Storm Come Ashore Yesterday… First CineSlider Time Lapse A Moment of Zen from the Pacific Ocean After the Storm ..read more
