Taking a look back at the impact of the EU’s Interchange Regulation
Yesterday, I was invited by the European Commission to discuss, along with a number of stakeholders, the impact of the European Interchange Regulation which was adopted in 2015. That Regulation in essence set a cap on those fees that a retailer’s bank has to pay to the issuer of a payment card.
