In February 2012 I accepted a new job in Doha, Qatar. On 1 September of that year I finally departed the UK. We sold up most everything, rented out the house and put what little we kept into storage. The first posts of this blog are all about the process of moving, including all the bureaucratic hurdles that needed to be crossed. It is then all about what has happened after we arrived.
