Hello all, hope this post is okay. I’m wondering about what it would be okay to wear to church. I’m a historical re-enactor, and tomorrow is supposed to be “International Re-enactors Dress Up Day”, where go about our daily lives in historical dress as much as possible to stir up interest in the hobby. My clothes are not immodest or otherwise impractical (I wouldn’t choose a hoop skirted 1860s outfit, for example, as it wouldn’t fit easily in the pews), but I’m concerned about being too much of a distraction to other churchgoers.
