Hello all, I have a question and I couldn't find a definite answer here. I am building an intro out of 2 tracks, and it sounds great within the DAW (Ableton 11), but when I export it sounds really different - muddier and way less punchy. I thought media player is causing it, but the original track sounds great there too. There is no additional processing except an EQ8 on the first track, and a limiter with a -6db ceiling on master, because it was redlining. I can handle the drums, but I cannot get anywhere close with the synths. Especially that layer with (sounds like) a lfo on resonance. I have no idea how to get this sound. The other layer that sits beneath the "morphing one" seems to be two saw waves with their fine tuning spread apart. Could anyone help? Howdy y’all, here’s a great set of tracks but I’ve noticed this discordant synth sound in a lot of tracks. Seems like Alarico, I think Benza, and a fair number of others I can’t remember off the top of my head have this exact synth sound at 2:00 on the first track. Is this a sample or just a saw with a 0 and a +6 semitone chord with chorus and maybe reverb?
