Looking to move into a paramedic career in my late 40s. Any other late-comers or anyone with guidance or advice?

I am looking to study ACP / or a degree program and i would love to do it outside of Canada.
Is there a PCP equivalent in Australia/NZ for a starting point of study or would I have to start from scratch?
Is there a organization like COPR I can communicate with to find out?
Also any suggestions on Schools would be awesome!
Thanks

Wondering if there are any differences in the Paramedicine courses across Australia/are any particular courses from different Unis more valuable to state employers or is it not particularly relevant?

I’m studying bachelor of health science in paramedicine in New Zealand. The course is 3 years, and I was wondering what the process is to transfer to Canada.
(Also, if this is the wrong sub for this kind of question, please direct me to the proper sub)

I've emailed NREMT with no response. I'm doing the re-entry pathway over 2 years lapsed. I have refresher courses done, BLS done. If I wait til after July 1st, is the process where you just have to take the new written test?

I’m a newer medic and this is a question I feel like I should know. However in the case of severe asthma attack with bronchospasms refractory to beta agonists would you consider CPAP or IM EPI as a secondary treatment to be given first? Or both? If both then in which order? I understand assisted PPV, and Mag would also be a consideration.
Edit: For some background info I had a call similar to this and I drew up IM Epi; my partner thought that was incorrect and said I should’ve used CPAP which I disagreed with.
Thanks for the input in advance.

Just wondering how the job opportunities are for ACP’s in BC. Planning on retiring from Sask soon and will be moving to BC. Looking more for industrial and other opportunities, not interested in working car and on the street - 30 years of that is more than enough for me.

Hi everyone!
I am currently a master's student in the Applied Psychology program at Tarleton State University. The focus of my thesis is first responders and the factors that may influence social perception. For the study, you will read a short story and then answer a few questions.
The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. All responses will be kept confidential and anonymous, and the data collected will be used only for research purposes.
Thank you in advance for your valuable input and support!
Here is a link to the survey:

do emergency responders actually check the medical ID on iphones when they pick someone up? or is it better to just have a medical ID somewhere else like on a bracelet or in your wallet or something?
