I’m going to Pacific Beach, SD for my 29th birthday. I heard the crowd can be younger there so I wanted to know which bars/restaurants are better for my age group. I don’t party too much, but love a cocktail, good food, and games. Aesthetic is somewhat important to me, but overall looking for some chill / fun atmospheres where me and my girlfriends can enjoy our trip without feeling like we’re back at college frat parties? I prefer recommendations in pacific beach or like a 5-10min Uber away. Thanks in advance!
TLDR; pacific beach bar and restaurant suggestions for 29th birthday weekend— does ..read more

Neighborhoods**
My dogs hate fireworks. Unfortunately Encanto is “poppin” every holiday, especially the fourth of July.
Do you guys have suggestions for neighborhoods that hear little to no fireworks? Im guessing North San Diego would be better than around me.
Thank you in advance!

I'm running out of my anti-depressant medication and because my mental health facility randomly closed my case I'm trying to quickly recover and reopen that case. HOWEVER, the primary care provider listed on my Molina Medi-Cal card doesn't match that facility. So of course I go to my patient portal to try to switch over to the correct one and they aren't listed. I call the member service line, I'm transferred, I'm hung up on. I call again, I'm hung up on again. I'm considering spending $85 (that I could really use elsewhere) on a nurse through Amazon to get my anti-depressant prescription. Th ..read more

Looking for a hip, walkable area to stay for a long weekend. In my mid-30s, hoping to spend $300/night. Don't want a touristy area but also want day/night life: Good bars (no clubs)/restaurants, culture, cute shops. Any ideas?
Was initially thinking Carte in Little Italy, but is that area touristy? North Park, Normal Heights?

There is nothing that gets my juices flowing like sitting outside on a beautiful day sipping a delightful magarita. I'm not talking that neon green bullshit your standard text/mex place serves that tastes like a melted Popsicle that was poured from a jug. I'm talking the freshest of the fresh. BLANCO at the mall does this well. I was able to pry the main ingredients from the bartender once but not the ratios and for the life of me I cannot get it right. It's supposed to be coconut water, lime and orange juice. Does anyone know anyone that works there or works there themselves that can get the ..read more

We are a couple travelling with a senior in early 80s, with a 830am flight to catch with Alaska Airline to Tampa.
If some questions sounds silly, pardon me because I am not an American.
Questions:
Option 1. Is it easy to get uber say at 630am? Because I read some people got their ride cancelled in the morning. Assuming we aim to be reach the airport before 7am?
Is 1.5 hours enough time, including checking in the bags? I assume the cost is about USD50?
Should we choose to return the car at airport, how does the shuttle works in going back to terminal from car rental (Enterprise) office? I can ..read more
