I’m not sure how conservice fees are added in Seattle or if all of these fees are normal. I understand it may just be the “normal” way things apartments are run here but I kind of wanted to do a gut check. I was already surprised at the sewer costs here ( $170-200) split between everyone on our floor, then there is the service fee to even pay our rent ( $70 every time we pay rent, no other options on how to pay) We just received our renewal notice that stated even more fees will be added. I have a past violent felony (35 years ago in California), I am not under any supervision, monitoring, or other type of criminal justice involved process. Is there a path forward for me to be allowed to carry pepper spray in Seattle? I live downtown (Belltown) and I don’t own a car so I walk everywhere.
