WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – City of West Fargo officials, in cooperation with Southeast Cass Water Resource District, initiated north and south gate closures on the Sheyenne River, diverting all flow around town north of I-94. The city says that due to recent rains there has been significant movement in water levels in the Sheyenne River. With these changes in river levels they are reminding residents south of I-94 to monitor riverbank conditions and report changes to the West Fargo Public Works Department. Choice Bank donates over $600,000 to support affordable housing

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Choice Bank has partnered with The Member Impact Fund to donate $628,000 to support affordable housing and community development in North Dakota. The donations will go to support 20 different non-profits in the region that work on making housing affordable and accessible. Beyond Shelter, Cass Clay Community Land Trust, Sharehouse and Matthew’s Voice Project were among the organizations who received money from Choice Bank. FARGO, N.D. (KVRR)–For the second consecutive season, the Fargo Force are in the Clark Cup Finals. A season ago, they fell to Youngstown. This season they look to finish the job. The Force had to deal with major adversity in the Western Conference Semifinals vs. Sioux City last round. FARGO, N.D. (KVRR)–Ahead of the Clark Cup Finals this weekend, three major awards were announced this week in the United State Hockey League. Mac Swanson was named the USHL Forward of the year. The North Dakota hockey commit led the league in assists with 51 and ranked third in Points with 77. In net, Hampton Slukynsky was named goaltender of the year. BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR) – Governor Doug Burgum presented his for the 2025 to 2027 biennium today. North Dakota’s state general fund revenues are above expectations in the current cycle by nearly $213 million. However, Burgum is still calling on state agencies to find new efficiencies and lower costs. They are looking for these men: 26-year-old Esiquio Hernandez and 48-year-old John Hernandez both of Moorhead.
