The St. Louis County Library and the St. Louis Public Library are joining forces this summer to offer a summer reading and exploration program called “STL Summer Adventure.” The program, open to children 0 to 17, invites participants to “go on an adventure” with a focus on a variety of different activities in STEM, art, outdoors, St. Louis and reading. The Lindbergh High School baseball team had endured enough. After suffering a six-game losing streak, a win over Kirkwood May 1 was just what the doctor ordered. South County man killed after colliding with truck

The St. Louis County Police Department is investigating a fatal accident that left a Lemay man dead. Nathaniel Tullock, 22, of the 4000 block of Dolbil Drive, 63125, was killed when the motorcycle he was driving crashed into the back of a pickup truck on Union Road near Park Hill Court last month. According to police, officers from the South County Precinct responded to a call for service at 5:27 p.m. April 30. The Crestwood Board of Aldermen’s April 23 meeting was both a blast from the past and a look into the future. The board bid adieu to term-limited Ward 2 Alderman Justin Charboneau, swore in the newly elected Ward 2 Alderman Rebecca Now, honored past mayors and board members and nominated Ward 4 Alderman Tony Kennedy to serve as the next board president. The Mehlville MOMS club is holding its twice-a-year resale event, Baby Mania, May 4 in the parking lot of Mehlville High School, 3200 Lemay Ferry Road. Shopping is open from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Saturday, though those who purchased Early Bird passes in advance for $20 may begin shopping at 7 a.m.  Baby Mania is a free shopping and resale event with multiple vendors selling baby and kids items. The Mehlville Fire Protection District’s Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) Department taught Lindbergh School District educators bleeding control techniques – such as how to pack a wound, how to apply a tourniquet and how to best apply first aid during emergencies in a school environment – through an interactive course April 26.
