Project Expected to Last Eight Weeks Beginning Monday, May 13, Boonton Avenue will be closed between Wootton Street and Taylortown Road for approximately eight weeks to facilitate the installation of 10,000 feet of gas main that will impact traffic in the Town of Boonton, Boonton Township and Montville Township. Work hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Detours will be established, and heavy delays are anticipated. Motorists are encouraged to plan alternative routes.
