Prepared Food Delivery?

Is there any meal delivery services out there that will deliver me an already prepared meal that I pay for in bulk. I don’t mean Hello Fresh where they send you the recipe and ingredients, I mean already prepared food. I don’t care if it’s frozen either. Just healthy meals that I can pop in the microwave or quickly heat up on a stove. submitted by /u/AlezDeltatude [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

My grandma worked very hard to provide for her children incl my father. Shes so sweet and loving and my grandad has alzheimer's. So hes already gone. The problem is, all of her children are either living abroad and the ones that are there can't help her because they have their own family. The main problem also is, that my grandma can't chew anymore and isn't allowed to for IDK what reasons. She's diabetic and also can't eat any salt. It's gotten so bad she just sucks on her food and that caused her to get weaker and weaker and I'm afraid her immune system will suffer because of that. So ZERO ..read more

Anyone got a protein pudding recipe using protein powder? I’m thinking like those mousse pots or dessert yoghurts that are about £2.50 each?? They are pretty nice though (on the tastebuds, not the bank account?) submitted by /u/AnAbsoluteShambles1 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I'm about 12 weeks post-op from a triple arthrodesis, tendon transfer and lengthening. I've started walking, assisted with a boot and walker. I noticed tonight it almost feels like it's pinched. Anyone ever felt this before? submitted by /u/RedQueen1984 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi All, I struggle to get protein in on just with water/milk due to stomach issues! I'm now trying to get my protein in through smoothies. I currently use My Protein Isolate Whey white chocolate and the other day mixed it with some strawberries/bananas/mango but it was sickly sweet! So I am hoping to try a new less overpowering iso whey flavour -open to trying new brand or flavour. Any suggestions?? Any feedback is much appreciated - thank you ? submitted by /u/LongjumpingDress6785 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hello, we would like to start eating offal meats.... while still finding the idea of offal (except for liver pate in banh mi) a bit icky. Looking for some good recipes/suggestions that are 1) not too hard to make, for two full time working parents of a toddler, and 2) somewhat disguise the fact that the dish contains offal. Dishes where the offal is not the star, and is mixed with many other ingredients, would be ideal. Also, how hard is it to make pate? We live in regional Australia so our local butchers are stocking chicken, lamb, beef, pork, and occasionally duck; we do have lots of good i ..read more

High-Calorie Diet Training

Context: I am a marathon runner who is in training mode, my parents are trying to eat diets that minimize calories and maximize nutrients. Lately, I've noticed that I've been getting hungrier during the day and getting light-headed and tired easily. I want to talk to my parents about eating separate meals, but I don't know any good high-calorie meals to make. I do enjoy the high nutrients that I am getting, but I think I need more calories. I would prefer easy/short meal making. Does anyone have high-calorie meal recipes? Thoughts? submitted by /u/I-am-Ballistix [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I work for a non-profit that assists unhoused folks. We both bring hot meals into camps and leave behind food supplies for them to continue to feed themselves after we are gone. I am looking for suggestions for either category that fits within a shoestring budget. (1) What are some extremely cheap hot meal ideas that we can prepare in mass and that delivers well? (2) What are some cheap but healthy options for food that we can leave behind? We typically provide granola bars, chips, etc but that stuff is hard to survive on. Assuming most of the folks won't have easy access to a way to prepare ..read more

Hey y'all. My brother and I live together. I do most of the cooking and grocery shopping. The problem is my brother has a serious case of crohn's disease. This means he cannot eat uncooked fruit, veggies, cows milk, and beans. He has also started to have issues with harder meats like pork and beef (he can have some in small amounts). I have several recipes that he can eat or I can easily modify for both of us, but I'm starting to get tired of the same stuff and they're expensive. Plus most of my recipes are not super healthy because of my brother's dietary restrictions. If anyone has good rec ..read more
