Emotional Freedom Technique is a powerful technique that you can use anytime you're feeling a little anxious or unsettled or if you have a specific goal that you would like to achieve and you may have some negative thoughts, feelings or emotions that are coming up for you.
When we go through and tap on the meridian end points while using the statement "Even though I (add negative statement in here) I deeply and completely love, accept, appreciate and respect myself", it's diffusing those negative emotions, thoughts and feelings which then replaces them with positive thoughts and feeling ..read more

For many of us, procrastination is the bane of our existence. From starting business admin tasks and writing blogs to doing our taxes, it’s a habit that follows us through multiple stages of our lives. We know we shouldn’t do it and often, we have the best intentions not to. We buy those running shoes to start that new fitness program or block out time in our calendar to get started on a personal project. We all know that one person who has that inexplicable ‘it’ quality. They’re not necessarily the most successful or even the loudest person in the room. While it’s human nature for our thoughts to wander, this usually means that we’re either stuck in the past or future. The problem with this is that it o ..read more

Work, exercise, cooking, cleaning, socialising, looking after small humans…We all tend to pack a lot into our 16 (or more!) waking hours. When you’re trying to get ahead in your life and career, it can be tempting to take on every opportunity that comes your way. Unfortunately, this often leads to biting off way more than you can chew. Not only does it mean spreading yourself too thinly across your many responsibilities, it can also lead to a debilitating mental state called burnout.
What is burnout?
First of all, it’s important to understand the difference between stress and burnout. W ..read more

In today’s society, we’re constantly absorbing information about what the people around us are doing. Thanks to social media, we know where they went on their holiday, what they were wearing and even what they had for breakfast! It’s great way to keep up to date on the lives of your loved ones but sometimes, it’s enough to drive us mad.
We’ve all been in a social media shame spiral, where you start on a friend’s profile and somehow end up on their cousin’s ex boyfriend’s sister’s profile an hour later. Or, you’ve scrolled through hundreds of photos of a toned, tanned Instagram models and find ..read more
