Finally got these put in, took a few hours to do cleanly, I have about an hours worth of touch work to do including cleaning up the wiring. I have nerf football whistles installed in the nacelles which is what you are hearing on idle, they sound awesome!

Hello, noob here. I'm looking for an inexpensive, beginner, fpv plane.
I'm looking at the $114 'pnp' plane sold here, does it include the camera and everything? I can't tell, if you've got any suggestions for a beginner fpv plane feel free.

Hi there, I recently got my first fixed wing kit, but I still need to buy batteries and a transmitter.
At first, I only will fly line of sight, but eventually I want to use the same transmitter for FPV and using sims on my PC.
Thanks!

I'm building a large uav that i hope to do autonomous mission with
It will be made mostly out of hot wire cut EPS foam. Obviously, this will not be strong enough on its own. I expect a force of 10kg at maximum g
What material should I use as I cannot find any carbon spars longer than 1 meter and aluminium tubes are very heavy.
Would aluminium strips or oak dowels be a good option?

I have bought a 2200 10T 1400 KV for my RC plane, what I didn't know was the fact that the entire body of the motor rotates with the shaft and thus I need to fix the back end to something with screws, so what are these screws and how do I fix it so that the thing spins without problems? The front looks like that, I have seen a few tutorials about people using the same motor and fixing a piece of wood at the front and screwing the motor to it, so what should I do?

So I've been getting back into the hobby recently and teaching my son to fly now that he is older. We went to a swap meet at a flying field to see if there was anything good out there. There was a C130 that we both loved, but the auction price was getting a little too high and decided to pass on it. Later there was this really beat up Mini Apprentice S. I won the bid with $6 lol. It needed some needed TLC. I remade the vertical & horizontal stabilazer using foam board from one of my son's school project. I covered it with packing tape for extra rigidity. I replaced all the old glue fr ..read more
