The sand has settled from the 2024 Silver State Nitro Challenge and the JConcepts crew couldn’t be anymore proud of our team. This was the largest 1/8th scale off-road event in history and JConcepts was top of the charts in all 4 pro classes as well as a host of others. Living in a casino for a week and spending long hours racing with your competitors and buddies is hard work, but the team made the most of it and good times and smiles were had all around. The JConcepts race team finishes the month of April with more wins on tracks around the world! Read about our winning ways in this fresh edition of the Race Team Update! We start this week’s report out in sunny California in the town of Rescue. The opening round of the Nor Cal RC Monster Trucks Points Series took place at Rescue RC Raceway, and team driver Jeremy Bunting took the TQ and 2nd place in the Retro class with his replica Shotgun truck! This past weekend the North Georgia Shootout took place at Rabun Arena in Tiger, GA. This 1:8 off-road event brought out 342 entries competing in 15 different classes. On Friday drivers threw down laps on the new layout from 7am till 10pm that night. Saturday morning qualifying kicked off slightly after 7:30am and there were 28 heats per round. There were three rounds of qualifying, but since this event used qual points only a driver’s best two finishes would count toward their final qualifying position in each class. Another week of racing is in the books for the JConcepts race team as they continue their winning ways! Read about our latest podium finishes in this new edition of the Race Team Update! The JConcepts team had a standout weekend at the 2024 ROAR 1/10th Scale Dirt Off-Road Nationals hosted by Beach RC in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The track surface and grip level threw drivers for a bit of a loop but ultimately the team was able to figure it out and prevail in the end. The team started on the tried and true Silver Compound Smoothie 2.0s to kick things off for the week on Wednesday. Over the past two weeks our international team has had a great showing across the world. Using the full range of products Juan Carlos Canas was able to grab the TQ and win at the 2nd round of the Spanish Nationals for 1/8th Nitro Buggy. Alex Bernadzik head it down at the Philippine Masters qualifying 2nd in Nitro Buggy and Ebuggy and finishing up the Ebuggy main 3rd.
