Culinary Arts Schools in Minnesota?
Reddit - Culinary

Hey friends- are there any legit culinary arts schools in Minnesota? I’ve already been victimized by for-profit schools, so I’m not interested in “private” schools. Background- I got my degree from Globe and luckily was able to have my loans discharged with PSLF and various lawsuits ?. That being said, I’m DONE with healthcare and want to pursue my passion. Any insight is appreciated submitted by /u/EmotionalDesign3153 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Bad sushi & sashimi

So, not sure if it’s me, but during dinner on a cruise ship, I had some sushi and sashimi, and my first bite, it tasted, salty, fishy and a bit bitter. I had few more and the same thing. The sushi was the exact same, only the vinegar masked the sourness. Was it me or the sushi/sashimi submitted by /u/Sayorifan22 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I have the lodge enamel dutch oven and noticed after we left it in the oven while preheating stuff. Now where the lid meets the top of the pot is leaking out black soot from little cracks. Defective manufacturing? submitted by /u/Maleficent-Roll-3437 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Was at a place once for lunch, and ordered their egg hemingway, and found it sitting on top of a certain type if hashbrown that was very fluffy and crispy, unlike a hashbrown ive ever seen or tried before, which I can't find any examples of this type of hashbrown online, let alone instructions for how to make it. I did google image searches on the foto that I have of it, with only this exact restaurant coming up and tried chatgpt to no avail. So as a last resort I was wondering if anyone here knows how to make this long stringy fluffy crispy hashbrowns that stands out from most other has ..read more

Failed at grinding Whole spices in curry , what to do?

Hi everyone! Today I tried to make malai kofta gravy. I used whole spices (cardamom, whole clove and cinammon sticks) but I accidently forgot to grind the cardamom and the whole clove, and now the gravy has big bits of whole spices that are hard to swallow. Is there any way I can save this gravy or do I just start over? Thank you so much! (I tried to blend using the ninja blender but it didn't do much I'm afraid) submitted by /u/Clerk_Psychological [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I need help! - Has anyone ever made popcorn in their tilt skillet? I’m looking to make some bulk popcorn for a lot of guests. I’ve looked on YouTube but couldn’t find anything. My next option is to go in on my day off with 10 or 25 lbs of kernels and a jug of fake butter and make a big ol’ mess. Any help is appreciated, submitted by /u/purpleisafruit2 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
