BRESCIA, Italy – Arkansas alum Taliyah Brooks successfully defended her title in the Multistars heptathlon and equaled her career best of 6,330 points from her 2023 victory. BATON ROUGE – Jumping for the first time since equaling the collegiate record to win the NCAA Indoor title, Razorback Rachel Glenn broke the Arkansas outdoor high jump record with a winning height of 6 feet, 2.75 inches (1.90) at the LSU Invitational on Saturday. Glenn, who has an outdoor best of 6-4 (1.93), bettered the Razorback record of 6-2 (1.88) set in 2013 by Makeba Alcide. BATON ROUGE – Razorback Wayne Pinnock set sail during his outdoor debut in the long jump at Saturday’s LSU Invitational, producing an impressive leap of 27 feet, 8.25 inches (8.44) with an aiding wind of 5.8 meters per second. Pinnock set a 2024 world leading mark under all-conditions with the winning effort at Bernie Moore Stadium. Pinnock has held the world leading mark since the 2023 World Championships in Budapest and also led the recent 2024 indoor season as well.
