Sorry, this is a rhetorical question to which I thought the answer was a simple NO! Well, apparently you can. I just drank these three cans of beer from Lucky Bay Brewing in Esperance WA and they tasted very nice, here are the brewery details. https://www.luckybaybrewing.com.au
I drank the Lockdown Dark Lager without knowing it used un-malted (70% raw) barley, clean crisp very well made nice and dry maybe short of a bit of body. I’m looking forward to drinking lots of this at the...

So Im using the Fresh Wort Extract Kits (5L) from my LHBS, many LHBS's have a rack of them in the store around here in Brizzy, I hope some of you know what Im referring to.
So I made one up that required 1kg of Dextrose to make it into a full strength Beer, all the rest of them only need 500g of Dextrose to make Full Strength, it end up tasting like a wine/beer, VERY Cidery (VERY).
So ive worked out I need to be using LDME instead of Dextrose to stop this, but I need to add Hops to...

Hi all,
Just had an amazing NEIPA by Big Shed Brewing called Boozy Fruit. I can't recommend trying this one enough! I wanted to have a go at brewing something similar anyone tried making this before?
The website says the malts include pale, toffee, wheat and oats. And the hops are Galaxy, Wai-iti, Citra, Ekuanot and Mosaic.
While I'm keen to mess around with hop combinations can someone recommend a place to start with the grain bill?
Thanks and honestly if you see Boozy Fruit on the...

Selling my keezer / kegerator. Originally a 300lt chest freezer to which I added a 220cm oak collar. Dimensions are now 1.2m depth, 1m long, 60cm wide. The original freezer motor has been replaced by a fridge motor which disperses cold air through a fan. Does not have a thermostat as I used a temp-mate to control temp. Can run at 0 degrees. Has an 80cm stainless drip tray attached to the front and four Perlick SS taps. All taps have John Guest fittings on the shanks with QD’s. Has a...

Hi there!
After ten years of homebrewing, I have finally gotten around to kegging my beer. I have set up a KegLand Pluto gun, which I figured was an easy and cheap step into kegging, and I'm excited to try it out. Yesterday, I set everything up, checked for leaks, and did a test pour. After a bit of adjustment, everything seemed fine, and I was satisfied with the setup.
However, this morning, I noticed a mess on the duotight fitting that connects the beer line and the gun. I assume that...
