Hi everyone, I’m currently testing my funnel and am running a purchase campaign with sales trickling in every few days. I’m considering running a lead gen campaign with landing page sign up. In your experience, what has been the best method? Lead gen to VSL or straight to purchase? Thank you so much! submitted by /u/SMNewbieto100 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I have a client who was getting around 800% ROAS but from about 3 months now it has dipped to 100% and they are not happy. I have tried several things - segmenting into best sellers, poor performers, with or without signals, assets groups all in one campaign and separate campaigns for every asset group and nothing is working. any suggestions please? i don't want to lost the client as it was going so well before submitted by /u/Quiet-Ad5399 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi. I have been running phrase match for marine construction company for a month now. The current focus is on seawall repair and construction. Leads have pretty much dried up. Some consideration: Targeting a specific radius The daily budget is $25/day Strictly filtering out irrelevant search terms Stats for current month: 2 conversions, 50 clicks, 500 impressions against $500. Compared to last month we had 4 conversions against similar ad spend. Do you guys creating a broad match ad group will help. I personally think it won't. So, wanted some expert opinion about this. Cheers! submitted b ..read more

Google Local Inventory Ads vs. Standard Shopping Ads

In a standard shopping campaign that is showing local products, how does Google choose whether to show a Local Inventory Ad vs. a Shopping Ad? Is there a way to make sure a specific campaign only targets Local Inventory ads? Is this a viable strategy? Back Story: I'm running a campaign for a local brick and mortar retailer that is showing both LIAs and standard shopping ads. We are location targeting the local area. When we search for their products from withing a reasonable (10-20 mile) radius we are finding we get served the LIA about 50% of the time and the Standard Shopping Ad about 50 ..read more

From my research, time and again, I come across the same advice - “Don’t f***ing touch the campaigns.” I feel like 95% of the “work” is just waiting for Google to optimise the campaign. What do you guys do when you’re working on a client’s campaign? submitted by /u/runninginflipflops [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

GA4 "Manual Term" meaning

Does anyone know if the dimension in GA4 "manual term" refers to a keyword or search term? Google's support page states "This shows the paid keyword from the click URL", but I had always thought that the UTM parameter "term" captured what the user actually typed. Either way, how do I end up with things like a full long URL in my list of manual terms? I don't have any URLs in my keyword lists and it seems odd that that many people would search by URL submitted by /u/Katem8600 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

God tier ads / tiered GA shopping campaign

Business owner here. I've been going through God Tier Ads over the last couple days as I heard from PPC pros that it's one of the best courses out there. For context we are a high ticket dropshipping site. The course seems good but I've noticed a lot of the material is outdated. For example it refers to smart shopping campaigns which no longer exist and a lot the videos are 3-4 years old. At one point the course suggests a high, medium and low priority tiered shopping ads to allow for higher bids for brand and product names. We've had some success using this setup in the past but found it qui ..read more

Updated Conversion Import UI in Google Ads

Google has recently updated their UI for creating conversion actions. It has changed quite significantly when you select the Import and Track conversion from clicks options. Google is now requiring you to select a data source to connect to. This functionality feels a bit clunky. I want to import my conversions manually form a Google Sheet. I don't know what option to select for my data source. When I choose Google Sheets, it gives me two options of Direct Connection or Third-party integration by Zapier. If I select Direct Connection, the additional help text appears: To connect to your data ..read more
