Arizona Athletics Expectations were very low within the Pac-12 for Arizona, which was picked by the league’s coaches to finish in ninth place. But after claiming the final regular-season conference title, it’s pretty evident who did the best coaching job in the league. Chip Hale has been named Pac-12 Baseball Coach of the Year, the sixth time a Wildcat has won the award and first since Jay Johnson in 2021. McConnell and the Dallas Mavericks’ Josh Green both helped their respective teams reach the NBA conference finals over the weekend.
