Digital Goa, April 21 – Goa Board recorded overall pass percentage of 84.99 % this year with 14,882 of the 17,511 students who appeared for the exam clearing it.  Pass percentage for girls was at 88.06 % while 81.51 % boys cleared the exams. Commerce stream recorded maximum pass percentage at 90.78 % followed by Arts Stream at 86.33 % , Science Stream at 82.41 % and Vocational stream registering  76.45 % pass percentage. Digital Goa, April 21 – In yet another murder reported from Vasco, a senior citizen was found murdered in her house at Khariwado. 70-years-old Gayatri Marathe was found in a pool of blood in her house when neighbours opened her door. She was staying alone in the house. She is suspected to have been stabbed to death as a knife was found next to her body. The motive behind the murder is not yet known. Digital Goa, April 19 –   Air Traffic Control(ATC), INS Hansa Goa Airport reported that a strong laser beam was pointed towards the cockpit of the Aircraft during departure of aircraft from Dabolim. Digital Goa, April 19 – In a tragic incident, a lineman attached to the state electricity department died of electrocution while working on an electric pole at Housing Board, Bicholim. The lineman is identified as Manoj Jambaulikar from Pilgao. The accident has brought to fore the issue of  safety of lineman working under dangerous conditions.
