Hey, yall. Looking for advice/thoughts, and will try to keep it as short as possible. So ive got my license when i was in the army (one of european ones) and after driving for them for two years, got a civilian job as a truck driver, first long haul, then local. Was allright, got 7 years of experience in total, and loved it for the most part. Then moved to another country, and switched industries, and been doing different (non driving) job for about 10 years. Steering in trucks?

So is it just the trucks I have gotten or is it how trucks are. I haven’t driven very long. I used to drive a lightweight cascadia. I’m not driving an international LT. When I’m driving straight and let steering wheel go. It veers off to the right. And I’m constantly having to put pressure turning left to keep myself straight. It’s very tiring on the hands. Is this an alignment issue? I mean it is but are they supposed to be this way for safety concerns? Someone fill me in submitted by /u/MoBHaViiCK1 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Says he talked to the mechanic and the mechanic had him zip tie the loose airline to prevent air from escaping. Mechanic wants to get the trailer to home terminal before addressing the problem. It’s only a 230 mile trip, and I’d probably normally say fuck it and go. But Blitz Week is basically here and it’s got me spooked. What would you guys do? I’m only a couple years into my career so don’t really have a feel for the scale of mechanical issues and when I actually need to put my foot down ..read more
