Steven Fisk confirmed himself as Mizuno’s player to watch for 2024 at the Korn Ferry’s LECOM Suncoast Classic, finishing T2 after a three-man play-off. A win at the Lakewood National Golf Club’s Commander course would have secured back-to-back Korn Ferry titles for Fisk. Fisk finished (-20), and a final round 68 meant the in-form Fisk has now recorded 10 consecutive sub-par rounds, moving him to 3rd on the 2024 Season Points table. At the end of the season, the top 30 players on Korn Ferry will earn their PGA Tour cards for 2025. Mizuno’s Bailey Tardy opened her LPGA winners account with an impressive victory at the 2024 Blue Bay in Hainan Island, China.  Five birdies over the closing eight holes demonstrated Tardy’s confidence  – closing at 15 under and breaking the 72-hole scoring record by a total of 6 shots.  Tardy is in just her 2nd season on the LPGA Tour, but leading the 2023 Women’s US Open after three rounds at Pebble Beach was a sign of immense promise from the rookie. I got off to a little slow start on the front nine, and then just really stayed patient out there. I can’t say that I woke up ..read more

We caught up with Mizuno’s product lead, Chris Voshall, for an overview of the new ST-MAX driver for 2024 and a comparison with the ST-Z, ST-X and ST-G.  The ST-MAX is Mizuno’s highest MOI and most stable driver from off-centre strikes, but as always with a Mizuno product, manages to avoid the downfalls in looks, spin rate and sound of most high MOI models.
