The property taxes have gotten out of control in El Paso County, TX for the last few years, I know it’s happening all across Texas,(the saving grace is the homestead exemption)and I really think The State Government of Texas and Texas AG should open an investigation into the EL Paso Central Appraisal District (EPCAD) the Board of Directors, and the Appraisal Review Board Members for potential conflicts of interest, potential ethics violations/public corruption. (El Paso has some of the lowest wages in the state and as well as in the nation for context)

On May 4th voters across Texas will have the opportunity to vote for City or Town Council and School Board. Local officials are responsible for fixing potholes, keeping your community safe, setting the budget and priorities for your municipality. School boards are responsible for providing direction to schools, hiring superintendents and developing the annual budget. These issues matter!
Early Voting will run through April 30th.
The state offers a site where you can find your polling place, and the polls will be open from 7am-7pm on Election day!

Hard to have an equally accepted partisan discussion these days. But an honest question. Between Abbott and Paxton it seems a never ending process of perpetuating punishment for not conforming to an ideology or their constituents. My question is, what has been done to make this state and its people greater, as a whole, through our current govt.?
