Currently trying to learn everything about the game but, I am stuck with the skill trees and factions' parts. Also, are there any really good traits I should get in this update (2.024)?

Me: I think the question is "Do I move or not move?".
ChatGPT: That's a simple yet profound way to frame the question of free will. At its core, the concept of free will often boils down to the choices we make in our everyday lives – whether to act or not to act, to move or not to move.

Nowadays, I notice a significant pressure on newer players to adhere to unrealistic expectations. It seems that either you possess an abundance of in-game currency or you are considered "broke", either your character resembles Adonis (which is, by the way, determined by RNG) or you're considered unattractive, either you've maxed out your discipline or you're perceived as lazy. These players are pressured into essentialy sacrificing their entire lives chasing objectives only to end up with the "burned out" or "depressed" debuffs. What many fail to communicate to them is that the game of life i ..read more

What do people think about the massive server wide events that sometimes pop in with new updates? I'm talking stuff like the 1.939 update with the mass faction war and things like that. Have there been any since the 2.020 'plague revamled' event or did they decide to back off with them for a bit?

There are so many things to do in the game, and I'm looking for new ways to spend my time (+ I'm just wondering what people are up to).

Apparently a few billion years ago it was habitable and similar to this map (Earth) right now. Was there some sort of big update that changed maps or something?

In my local server, it rarely rains, but when it does, wet newly-paved roads look absolutely amazing with this game's path tracing implementation. Reflections and shadows look absolutely stunning. I wish it would rain more often so that there would be more opportunities to appreciate this game's wicked path tracing.

That’s what it is, people talk about a main quest line and all but the real beauty of all this is that there is no main quest and you just do what you think is interesting. Sure you can’t punch trees down and the physics engine is way more realistic, but it encourages civilization progress which is cool. The devs don’t interact much, because again, that’s the magic. You’re set down with something and you work with it.

When do they finally introduce the alien factions??? The admins keep teasing them, but they seem to be red herrings. It seems like they might be an urban legend. Why did they design the game to be so empty?
