I have been diligently cooking food and putting it in containers for the freezer. The lamb stew, refried beans and rice are both in the freezer. I did make some lasagna with organic pasta, though I need to be careful with pasta and only eat it once in a while. This week I am going to make oxtail soup and freeze it. I will pick up some haddock and cook some rice to freeze as well. In the meantime, I’ll search for other foods I can eat.

Hi everybody!
Had a difficult day yesterday— got banned for asking a question in the wrong way but this morning I got on the scale and I broke through my 118 pound barrier.
I weigh 117.8 pounds which is the lowest I’ve been as an adult!
Eating clean has completely changed my life:
* Lost 50+ pounds
* better sleep
* can walk without pain
* can walk longer distances
* less tired during the day * no more muscle spasms
* no more uncontrollable hunger
Still trying to gain muscle but that’s a separate challenge.

Eating clean is actually going back to basics. Back in the day we used to cook all our own food. Then processed foods came into play and people migrated over to that way of eating. My digestive system didn’t like this new way of eating (90’s..early 2000’s) and while I knew what the problem was, it isn’t easy to change your diet when everyone else is not. I would remove certain foods and add them back when nothing changed. Coffee was the first to go. But then, the last three months of last year, my RA came out of remission and I was bedridden for three months. Couldn’t move, couldn’t eat could ..read more

Not sure if this is the right sub for this but I'll put my question out here anyway--any advice is welcome. So, I'm eighteen I workout often, in good shape, and try to eat the healthiest I can. What kind of foods should I be eating more of or less of? I'm not really sure who to go to get reliable answers to these questions. The only thing I have in mind is a dietician and nutritionist but I'm unsure if they deal with s ..read more

Something like "get more vits". It is pretty processed with vitamins, but it has no sugar, although some sweetners, which I couldn't find in drinks like coke zero.
When it comes to food, no excuses, though soft drinks are another story...

Are there any you like, love? I need all the tea! I’m in western US region and haven’t found a clean Indian food brand yet. Started clean eating 3 months ago so prepackaged is saving me right now while I learn. Any help appreciated!
