The Chinese government recently issued new regulations that all passengers on flights to China need to undergo nucleic acid and serum IgM antibody tests in advance. The testing equipment at Copenhagen Airport will be put into use from November 16. Transit passengers need to set aside 4 hours for testing and obtain testing reports. According to Routesonline, SAS plans to resume flights from Copenhagen to Beijing Capital Airport from October 23 with a once-weekly frequency following CAAC’s guidelines for international flights to China. Scandinavian Airlines is planning to use an Airbus A330 aircraft on the route and the resumption plan still needs government approval. China’s largest private full-service airline, Juneyao Airlines, has officially announced the opening of a regular direct flight service between Zhengzhou and Helsinki, using their flagship fleet of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. This is not only the second intercontinental direct flight route opened by Juneyao Airlines, but also the first new intercontinental route announced by a Chinese airline since the outbreak of the pandemic. KLM Royal Dutch Airlines said on Thursday night that it has submitted a reorganisation plan to the Netherlands Ministry of Finance, which is an important part of its government financial assistance for 3.4 billion euros (3.99 billion US dollars).
