Hiiii… I know we all hate box dye, I’ve had black hair for a few years now & I’m trying to see if getting box dye is worth me having fresh black hair every few months. I don’t see myself ever going blonde as I’ve been blonde before and it doesn’t suite me, if I were to get highlights or a balayage again, I’d get brown with my black hair being the main color. I just took my nc cosmetology practical. I missed it by 3 points. I missed 4 out of 8 points from the hair cut section. I missed 2 out of 4 on the work area set up. I got 3 out of 5 right on the predisposition test. Anyone know how the scoring works? What are they exactly looking for? I thought I did the perm perfect. I wrapped cotton, used base and gloves. Hey all former Aveda cosmetologist here but never got the hang of color that well. I dye my hair myself and usually do a simple 4N but it’s been pulling too red lately.
