Sooooo for the past few weeks I’ve been shopping for a pole. I’ve watched tons of YouTube videos, read reviews and went through every post here on the subject. I DON’T LIKE THE POLE I BOUGHT ? So I have extremely sweaty hands and my studio uses chrome. Chrome and sweaty hands are a terrible mix (personal review and from what I’ve read). So while I was researching I was REALLY concentrating on finding the right pole for my sweaty hands. I’ve been working on this trick for awhile and I finally was able to do it. Now I’m gonna work on holding the pose longer and not falling on my face since about every other try I fall straight to the floor ??

Hey hey! I’ve been working my way towards an Ayesha (true grip) via Inverted D. I’ve held an Ayesha (both elbow + true grip) before, but only with an instructor present. I want to do it in the safest way possible.
I feel I’m really close to doing it on my own soon as I’ve been taking conditioning seriously. I also weightlift at the gym, which helps with my overall strength.
I’m curious to know (for those who have their Ayeshas), which one do you find harder: elbow or true grip? I can see why some people say elbow grip, but I feel more secure in true grip as I’m very comfortable with my ex ..read more
