Each year, during Memorial Day weekend, high school lacrosse teams from across the nation come together for the prestigious USA Lacrosse National Tournament. This year's event was held in Raleigh, NC, and it was a spectacular showcase of talent and sportsmanship. This past May, the Compton High School boys lacrosse team earned their chance to shine in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) playoffs. Their journey began with a challenging match against a higher-seeded Riverside Poly team. Defying the odds, the Compton Boys emerged victorious with a hard-fought 8-5 win, showcasing their skill, tenacity, and the effectiveness of their rigorous training and mentorship.

On April 17th, a momentous event unfolded at ACCE High School as Daimon Spriggs and Darius Reeder made history by becoming the first athletic recruits to graduate from the school.
