AMHERST, Mass. – The New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) is excited to announce the 54 student-athletes who will compete in this year’s East-West Senior All Star Game on Friday, May 31st.
The game will take place at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I. Face-off will be at 6:00 PM.
All players and coaches were nominated by the head coaches within the NEILA. Players were then ranked and selected by a committee, awarding seniors from all three NCAA Divisions who played their college career in the New England region. This all-star game is the only one of its kin ..read more

AMHERST, Mass. — Amherst College has been named the Division 3 Champion as the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) announces the final polls of the 2019 season.
The Mammoths are headed to Philadelphia for the NCAA D3 National Championship game after defeating former #1 team in New England Tufts University and arch-rival Williams College this week.
The Mammoths received all six first place votes and join already crowned regional champs Yale (D1) and Merrimack (D2).

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Trailing by a goal with less than 30 seconds to play, the No. 7 Merrimack College men’s lacrosse program turned to a pair of brothers – junior Dom Thomas and sophomore Christian Thomas – to extend the season.
First, it was the elder Thomas netting the equalizer thanks to an incredible feed by sophomore Sean Black with less than four seconds on the clock to send it to overtime. AMHERST, Mass. – The New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) is proud to announce the 2019 Players and Coaches of the Year, as well as the All-New England teams for Divisions 1, 2 & 3.
The teams are voted on by coaches from their respective divisions, on ballots assembled from coach’s nominations of their own players.
Boston University swept the Division 1 major awards, with attack Chris Gray earning Player of the Year honors and Ryan Polley voted by his peers as Coach of the Year.

AMHERST, Mass. — The New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) announces the Week #12 polls for the 2019 men’s lacrosse season.
With the Division 1 & 2 New England champions already announced, only the Division 3 poll will continue to run with multiple teams in the Division III NCAA tournament.
Tufts University is once again the unanimous top team in Division 3 this week. The Jumbos received all seven first place votes once again.
Along with Tufts, the remaining New England teams in the NCAA tournament are #2 Williams and #3 Amherst.

ERIE, Pa. – The No. 7 Merrimack College men’s lacrosse program started its national title defense with a resounding victory over third-seeded Mercyhurst University in the opening round of the 2019 NCAA Division II Men’s Lacrosse Championship on Wednesday at Tullio Field.

Fairfield’s MAAC Championship season ends with 15-13 loss to Wagner
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The 2019 season came to an end for Fairfield University Women’s Lacrosse on Tuesday afternoon as the Stags were edged by visiting Wagner, 15-13, in the NCAA Championship Opening Round on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium.
