I don’t make mixed drinks very often (more of a red wine or craft beer gal myself) but this one sounds so delish I may just have to imbibe a little over the holidays. The cocktail itself is more spicy with those maraschino cherry sweet bombs at the end. I'm super excited that my new recipe illustration was featured in They Draw and Cook's "Refreshing" collection this week!  I'm trying to build up my recipe collection and food illustrations on TDAC (this is my third one so far) and for this one,  I wanted to focus the design around some fun hand-lettering. I created this with brushes & a nib pen using Windsor and Newton inks.  I've been really enjoying using these inks lately as they interact in weird & wonderful ways with water.
