I’ve just bought what a think is a super taper corded wahl and have just cleaned it. When putting it back together I noticed the blade wouldn’t set very close to zero gap. The reason I am asking is because I use Gummy Shave Gel and it is getting harder and harder to find. Due to my local barber schools not teaching ethnic hair, I went to shops across the states to get some training on it. For the state board One guy taught me how to fold a cape so that when a client sits down I can just pull it out and hold a corner while the rest perfectly drapes them. No fumbling around or whipping it over them. Since then I’ve forgotten how to do it and the person who taught me passed away. Has anyone learned this drape method?
