EuropaPark weekday of weekend trip?

Planning to try and experience all that Europapark has over two days in the park in September. Are there things that only happen during weekends or is a mid week trip fine to experience everything the park has to offer? And also for those that have gone is 2 full days enough to see it all? Tips and advice are greatly appreciated. It's going to be quite funny to compare this parks theming to Busch gardens Williamsburg having been there before. submitted by /u/pantherbrujah [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Help identifying an old theme park attraction?

I have a memory from my childhood of an old attraction that I've never been able to find the name for. It wasn't a ride but rather more akin to a playground with some slight sense of objective. It was inside a two story building and the play centered around light plastic balls, like the ones you would find in ball pits. The second story was mostly open with an inward-facing balcony that wrapped all the way around. I think there were some tables that parents could sit at, and maybe they served food there? The main attraction was a large set piece (I remember as a cartoonish flying ship) that h ..read more

I made an application to help with on-the-go guidance across any theme park you visit. Harnessing the power of AI and machine learning, it assists you in making optimal decisions for your day. And today is launch day on Product Hunt! This post is created mainly to see if anyone here would be interested in this application - and if so, how could I make it better? Are there any high-end parks within 20 mins of a world-class museum?

Believe it or not, this isn’t about a family vacation (yet), just idle curiosity about something I saw in a comic book. It’s a plot point that the main character, an altogether normal human, made it from the middle of a Disneyland equivalent to a museum (not a novelty one - one high-end enough to exhibit actual medieval regalia) and back in ~40 minutes. How exactly he made it isn’t shown, but presumably train and taxi were both on the table. Obviously, since both locations are fictional the author can do whatever he wants, but I’m curious to know if any bigtime theme parks in real life are ac ..read more
