Looking to get my old man a proper pair of wet wading shoes so he doesn't slip, hit his head, and end up floating downstream. We're talking Arkansas, Ozarks rivers. The last time I was in the US last year and fished Crooked Creek with him, it was like ice skating on that Ozark moss. I'm leaning towards the Korkers based on reviews. I'm thinking 2 sets soles: Trailtrac for hiking around and floating in his kayak and then a pair of Felt Studded for fishing those war ..read more

My fishing buddies are few and far between, and this sub helps a lot. Everyone is super cool. Thank you guys for all the help, and great vibes. Fly fishing has done so much to help me personally. It is nice to be able to share with like minded people. My friends and family are tired of hearing about it. submitted by /u/bsmith7400 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I have a 5 weight 9 foot rod, and I’m struggling to rig my wooly bugger streamers properly, I can never get it to move properly when I’m casting if that makes sense. It almost seems too heavy, someone recommended 4 feet of 4x line but that doesn’t work, any tips ? submitted by /u/yungkraft [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hey guys I’ve been Carp fishing for a while now and would really love to learn fly fishing for them. I’m looking for a cheaper rod and reel combo $100-200 if possible that would do good with the size carp in my area(up to 60lbs). submitted by /u/HollowPoint-Pinks [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
