Hi everyone. Some nights ago I was sleeping at my boy house and "forgot" ( was not able actually) to go to the bathroom to remove the tampon for the night. I always have this very heavy period, and have to change the biggest tampon every 2hrs. So in the morning it was obv drenched with blood. Now the period ended but I think my vag has been affected by this, she seems inflamed, and hitchy as hell ... Do you think it can be that?

Is this discharge before ovulation?
well I know apps aren’t accurate for ovulation. Either way I want to know if this kind of discharge is normal? I’m supposed to be in my “fertile” phase but I don’t track using anything else. Just wanted to know if anyone else experiences this also

I was late by a week and a half, usually I'm regular and I know when I'm about to bleed. It didn't happen, my partner and I did the sex and cervix punching = me bleeding afterward, which I did - pink blood and a few small spots for 3 days, only really appeared after I'd used the toilet so it wasn't actively bleeding..? If that makes sense? Should I consider this a period? Negative tests, although I'm not sure if it's too early to test but I have been ... too many times.

I noticed that from the start of my ovulation phase of my menstrual cycle towards the end leading to the luteal phase I have been craving both plantain and guacamole. It's been happening for the last three months. For background, I am not pregnant and I'm 36 years old. I would occasionally enjoy plantain and guacamole when the occasion arises. But lately, my body seems to be craving these foods as if I need some nutrients from it. Does anyone have any background with cravings as it relates to vitamin deficiencies or otherwise to help me understand why these cravings have started?

First and foremost, I have already scheduled an appointment with my gyno, so I am not necessarily looking for diagnosis or anything!! (The appointment is for the 30th as of rn) I mostly just need advice, maybe comfort, and some hope that I’m not dying ?
So. I’m going to try to keep this as brief and simple as possible without it getting super gross. Yes ik this is a menstruation page, I have just never really spoken openly about this topic.
I have been on Nexplanon since Feb. 2023, haven’t had a check up yet. Well, normally on this BC I have short, few day periods that are extremely light “fl ..read more

Hello everyone. November 2023 i started having irregular bleeding around ovulation. This lasted 5 days. I went to the doctor and she said i have a polyp. I had it removed Feb 2nd this year and thank God it was benign. I had spotting for 4-5 days post procedure and then feb 16 i had my period for about 5 days. I didn’t get a period the whole march, but i spot a little on the night of march 31st. This month, i had some brown discharge for 5 days starting april 13. Last night, i spot again. This morning when i peed i saw a little blood again. Does this mean the polyp is back? It’s only been two ..read more

When I sit down there’s little to no blood but when I stand up there’s blood I’d say it’s equivalent to a nose bleed. See post history for pics

Hello Everyone!!! I know the following may seem TMI, but I need clarification, and my appointment with my first OBGYN is months away. I started my first oral contraceptive in late May of 2023, in which I had my period twice in the following month of June. In late June, I had a health issue (unrelated to my menstrual cycle), and I stopped taking the pill. My period was normal until November of 2023, when I had it at the beginning of the month and the end of the month. I missed it entirely in December 2023 and January 2024. When I got my period in February, it lasted for 15 DAYS STRAIGHT, and m ..read more

My boobs grew overnight apparently. Woke up with sore boobs and a full extra cup size which is wild because I’m practically flat chested. I just had a weird period where I was spitting grayish blood for a week then had a very light almost spotty normal period right after. During this time I didn’t know if I was actually on my period or not so I took my white BC pills and skipped placebo. I’ve been on my BC for around three years. Had sex about 5 weeks ago. Thoughts??? (Will be taking a test when CVS is open)

Has anyone else experienced this? I was on Yasmin birth control pills for 18 years. During this time I was diagnosed with anxiety and began medication for it. 6 weeks ago I stopped taking the pill, I wanted to see if it would impact some chronic issues I have (migraines, constipation, non existent libido). So far I had one very quick period and am not sure it was even a full cycle or not. I did have slight back pain, slight cramping, and slight breast pain which were normal for me before bc. Positive is that I haven’t had a migraine, but still no libido and holy smokes the bad moods! I am irr ..read more
